Executive Chef, David M. FisherWe are extremely pleased to welcome our new Executive Chef, David M. Fisher to the family. Chef Fisher has been working in the food industry since 1978, with 25 years in a professional kitchen and over 20 years of kitchen management. He was born and raised in the Portland area. He studied in Lille, France and has also worked and lived in Washington, Southern California, and St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. More recently he owned and operated Café Chameleon in New Mexico, where he excelled in creating International dishes in his elegant and stylish restaurant. Chef Fisher takes great care in his ingredients by doing things like hand picking produce and other local products he can unearth, while keeping close tabs to see what is in season and sustainable and never using products from the danger list. Chef Fisher is also an artist, his food displays leave a lasting impression, as he has an eye for colorful foods that catch your attention and temp your taste buds. He is fascinated by knives and fire and how they can be used to manipulate food. Chef Fisher is the father of two and in his leisure; enjoys hiking, fishing, writing music, and sculpting. He is nationally recognized, and has been well represented by many magazines, news papers and television. We are so glad to have him as a part of our Crave family. |
